Dear sisters and brothers,
      The Lord give you peace in this wondrous time of Pentecost! Francis of Assisi exhorted his friars and all Franciscan penitents to have “the Spirit of the Lord and His holy manner of working (sancta operatio).” Where is the Spirit’s sancta operatio in your life today?      

     This month we look forward to spirit-filled ongoing formation on Franciscan Vision with Eileen C. (blessings as she receives her Master of Divinity) We will also learn a bit about the Region’s leadership training program with Dick and Diane H. And of course, we’ll have prayer and fellowship to renew ourselves.

• And mark your calendars for Saturday August 4. Our District Picnic here at San Luis Rey will be a great time to meet other Franciscans!
