We are a global community.​

Our International Minister is Tibor Kauser, OFS, of Hungary.  Tibor sent a letter (PDF) to the global Secular Franciscan Order describing the comfort and grace that is the Holy Spirit. Tibor discusses our sacred place as Secular Franciscans in our families, in our fraternities, but also in our world:

     ...Each secular Franciscan is working ... for the good of the society. We are not hermits, we are inserted to a wider community of our fellow citizens by God. It is our responsibility and a part of our vocation to strive to form part of our society always in a better way, in the spirit of service, and to do our best to "build a more fraternal and evangelical world so that the kingdom of God may be brought about more effectively."
