Our Regional Newsletter - The Joy of Francis

​     The San Luis Rey Fraternity in Oceanside, CA is part of the 'St. Francis' Region that encompasses all of Southern California. The Regional Executive Council is led by our Regional Minister, Caroline Yandell, OFS.   
     The Regional Newsletter is called 'The Joy of Francis,' evoking Francis's understanding of Perfect Joy.  The newsletter contains recent updates from our Executive Council, Regional Spiritual Assistants, and from fraternities across Southern California. Back issues of 'The Joy of Francis' newsletter are available on the Regional Newsletter Archive.​

Mindful that they are bearers of peace which must be built up unceasingly, they should seek out
ways of unity and fraternal harmony through dialogue, trusting in the presence of the divine seed
in everyone and in the transforming power of love and pardon. Messengers of perfect joy
in every circumstance, they should strive to bring joy and hope to others.
