We Gather the 2nd Sunday of Each Month

We will gather on Sunday at the Mission San Luis Rey Retreat Center.  Our Gathering begins at Noon with a brown bag lunch (feel free to bring goodies to share!), followed by our Gathering from 1pm - 3pm.  If you are new, please reach out to us on our Contact page if you'd like to join us. Message from the Minister Provincial on Racism

Fr. David Gaa, OFM

Fr. David Gaa OFM, the Minister Provincial of the Franciscan Province of St. Barbara, has written an open letter to his White Sisters and Brothers who are Roman Catholic. In it he addresses the evil of systemic racism. He argues that racism is a spiritual wound and invites us to walk forward together as we struggle for a world of racial equality. Our Minister General of the global Secular Franciscan Order is Tibor Kauser of Hungary.  We are a part of a global Franciscan movement. Please check out the lastest issue of Vox Franciscana here. We are known as OFS, 'Ordo Franciscanus Secularius' (Secular Franciscan Order) not because Latin is 'fancy,' but because it's universal. We are a part of a global community.
